Deborah Bestwick MBE is a co-founder of British video game developer Team17.

Career

Bestwick began her career in retail, working her way up to store promotional manager for an indie video games chain, where she opened over 100 concessions for the Burton Group.[1] She started in Team17 by heading up the Sales and Marketing department, then went on to become responsible for all of the Commercial and Legal aspects of the business.[2]

Awards

Bestwick was made an MBE in the 2016 Birthday Honours for services to the computer games industry.[3] She also received the 2015 Person of the Year award at the MCV Awards and 2015 Businesswoman of the Year at the Women in Games Awards.[4]
