DealsTV is a Canadian English language direct response specialty shopping channel owned by Capital Networks.
The channel launched in September 2014 on Rogers Cable in both standard and high definition television in Ontario, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador.[1]
Programming
DealsTV features direct response advertising in short and long form from a range of categories including finance, automotive, real estate and travel.
Licensing
DealsTV is classified as a teleshopping service by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) and, thus, is exempted from requiring a CRTC-issued licence to operate and most other CRTC requirements to which pay TV and specialty channels are subject.[2]
