DeVon Franklin (born April 13, 1978) is an American author, film producer,[1] preacher and motivational speaker. He serves as President/CEO of Franklin Entertainment, a new first-look production company with Sony Pictures Entertainment. He was formerly the Senior Vice President of Production at Columbia Pictures and a studio executive at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.

His first start in the entertainment industry at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer as a studio executive. He worked as an intern for Will Smith and James Lassiter.

Currently, DeVon Franklin is the President/CEO, Franklin Entertainment & Author of the bestselling book, PRODUCED BY FAITH . He is also a film producer and has worked on projects like The Karate Kid, Not Easily Broken, Hancock and Heaven Is for Real.
