Daria Klimentová (born 23 June 1971) is a Czech ballet dancer and photographer.[1]

Klimentová trained at the Dance Conservatory Prague. In 1989, she joined the National Theatre Ballet Company in Prague as a soloist and after one year was promoted to principal dancer. In 1992, she joined Cape Town City Ballet in South Africa as principal. In 1993, she was invited to join Scottish Ballet as a principal. In 1996, Klimentová was invited to join English National Ballet as a principal dancer.[2]

In March 2013 Klimentová published her autobiography entitled Daria Klimentova – Agony and Ecstasy: My Life in Dance in which she detailed both her upbringing in Soviet-era Czechoslovakia and her ballet career.[3] In February 2014 Klimentová announced that she would be retiring from ballet in June 2014 after 18 years with ENB.[4]

Klimentová gave her final performance on June 22, 2014 at the Albert Hall as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. Partnering her as Romeo was her long-time partner Vadim Muntagirov.[5]
