Danny Diablo a.k.a. Lord Ezec is an underground recording artist focusing mainly in the worlds of hardcore punk and hip hop. He has fronted the hardcore bands Crown of Thornz and Skarhead and is known for his heavily tattooed image and his Queens-bred thug lifestyle.

Early life

Dan Singer was born in Manhattan, New York. He was the first of three children of a Puerto Rican woman from the East River Houses of Spanish Harlem and a Brooklyn-born, Polish-Jewish beat cop from her neighborhood.

Danny was a street kid who started writing graffiti at an early age and made a name for himself on the streets as a tough guy. His street name or graffiti tag was Lord Ezec.

Danny was stabbed with an 8-inch screwdriver and almost died in 1993. He was almost charged by the court because of the beating the stabber took. He spent almost two months at St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan.

Diablo was also arrested for attempted murder in 1998 and swore to change his life with music when he was released.

Diablo is a father to his son Dillinger Moses Singer who was born December 10, 2008. Dillinger's mother is Natasha Nicholson, who is also a singer, model and songwriter. Natasha Nicholson's father is Michael Horse, an American Indian musician, actor, jeweler, painter, sculptor and activist.

Modeling

Danny has done modeling for many clothing companies. He has been in numerous magazines on covers and in ads. He is now working with Tribal Clothing, Joker Clothing, and Methods NYC, and has a clothing company called "Lord Ezec Street Wear" & is part of the clothing line "Hatewear".

Actor

Singer has been in full-length movies, shorts and has directed and starred in several music videos.

In 2008 criminal drama action movie "The Crack Down" directed, written and produced by Charles Nordeen, Singer played a character named Israel Rodriguez which was based on his real-life personality.[1]

Producer

Singer co-produced and executive produces of some of his own songs and albums under the moniker Lord Ezec. In 2008, Singer produced the entire Skam Dust's "Son Of Skarhead" EP for Eulogy Recordings and also made additional vocal appearances along with Natasha Nicholson, Ceekay Jones, Jay R, Grizz, Prince Metropolitan.[8]
