Cynthia Bailey (born February 19, 1967)[3] is an American model, reality television star and actress.
Life and career
1967–2009: Early life and modeling career
At age 18, she moved to New York to start a modelling career amd signed with Wilhelmina Models. She has appeared twice on the cover of Essence (magazine)[4] and modelled in European fashion shows. Bailey has also appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair. Bailey has also appeared in a number of movies. In 1990 she appeared in "Without you I'm nothing"[5] and she also appeared in two episodes of The Cosby Show.
Bailey gave birth to her daughter, Noelle, in November 1999. Noelle's father is actor Leon Robinson.
2010–present
In October 2010, Bailey joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the third season of the show, in conjunction with Phaedra Parks's addition.[6][7] In February 2016, Bailey guest starred on The Next :15, alongside former costar Claudia Jordan of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. [8] In July 2016, Bailey was featured on a celebrity edition of Cupcake Wars, partnered with The Real Housewives of Atlanta costar, NeNe Leakes. [9]
In 2015, Bailey appeared in the documentary [10] In 2016, Bailey appeared in Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, the fourth installment of the Sharknado movies.[11]
