Crystal Jade (Chinese: 翡翠餐饮集团) is a MICHELIN one star and multiple MICHELIN Bib Gourmand awarded Singapore-based Chinese culinary group. To date, the award-winning group owns and operates over 100 outlets across 25 major cities across Asia Pacific and the United States.

History

Founded in 1991, the first Crystal Jade restaurant operated at the now defunct Cairnhill Hotel. From a single restaurant founded over 25 years ago on culinary expertise and a commitment to quality, MICHELIN one star and multiple MICHELIN Bib Gourmand awarded Crystal Jade has since grown and has been spreading the meaning of Chinese food and culture through its specialty dining concepts ranging from fine dining restaurants, casual dining restaurants to specialty bakeries.

The group serves up a diverse menu of well-loved items such as Lanzhou La Mian and Shanghai favourites, such as Xiao Long Bao, Cantonese barbecue meats, noodles and congee, Hong Kong dim sum, as well as quality pastries and bread.

Founded on the core principles of Chinese cuisine whilst drawing influence from modern gastronomy, Crystal Jade provides only the most wholesome food – food that nourishes, food that inspires and food that helps restore your soul and nurture your relationships.

Today – and for many more generations to come.

Acquisition

In 2014, L Capital Asia, the private equity arm of LVMH Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton officiated a 90% stake buy in Crystal Jade. While in June 2015, Standard Chartered Private Equity (SCPE) announced its investment in the group as well.

Awards & recognition

Over the years, numerous recognition and awards were presented to the group by both consumer and industry award panels.

In 2016, Crystal Jade Golden Palace was awarded one-MICHELIN star in the inaugural issue of Singapore MICHELIN guide. Other notable awards include “Regional Tatler - Regional’s Best Restaurant”, “AsiaOne People Choice Award – Best Chinese Restaurant, Top 3 “, “Hong Kong & Macau MICHELIN Guide: Hong Kong Bibs Gourmand”, “Wine and Dine – Singapore’s Top Restaurants” and many more.
