Cooper Rush is an American football quarterback. He is currently the starting quarterback for the 2016 Central Michigan Chippewas football team.[1] He passed for 2,349 yards as a freshman in 2013 and for 3,157 yards as a sophomore in 2014.[2] In the 2014 Bahamas Bowl, he set a bowl game record with seven touchdown passes.[3] Through the first 13 game of 2015, rush had 3,703 passing yards, which is a new CMU single season record.[2]

In the 2014 Bahamas Bowl Rush set an NCAA record for 7 passing touchdowns in a bowl game. Rush was named All-MAC second team in 2015.
