ConceptDraw MINDMAP is proprietary mind mapping and brainstorming software developed by CS Odessa for Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS X operating systems.

The mind mapping technology[1] of visual thinking[2] was invented by Tony Buzan[3] in the 1960s.[4] Along with the traditional practice[5] of hand-drawn mind maps[6] there is a range of special mind mapping software, which is commonly used to create mind maps[7] for purposes of business,[8] project management[9] and knowledge management.[10] The first version of ConceptDraw MINDMAP[11] was released in 2001. Since 2008 it has been a part of the ConceptDraw Office[12] software package[13] for Windows and Mac OS X platform.[14]

Export/Import

Using a standard file format allows interchange of files between: mind maps, project files and diagrams.[15] ConceptDraw MINDMAP can import OPML files, text outlines, MS Project, MS Word[16] and MS PowerPoint files, along with some mind mapping formats,[17] such as MindManager, XMind and FreeMind. Export options include MS Project, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MindManager as well, and also Adobe PDF, HTML, and a variety of graphics formats. Through the set of plug-ins[18] ConceptDraw MINDMAP is compatible with Twitter,[19] Skype[20] and Evernote [21] services.
