2016 Elections

In December 2015, a 21-year old Comal County resident, DJ Seeger, filed a declaration as an Independent candidate for Sheriff of Comal County in the November 2016 elections.[4] On November 8, 2016, Comal County will hold a General Election for Sheriff and if elected, Seeger will be the youngest elected Sheriff in the United States.
