Coffee Lake is Intel's codename for the 2nd 14 nm process refinement following both Skylake and Kaby Lake. Evidently due to issues with 10 nm yields intended for Cannonlake, Intel has opted for a 2nd refinement of their 14 nm process for higher-end families. Coffee Lake is rumored to consist of 15/28 Watt dual core U-chips with GT3e, and 35-45 H-chips with GT3e and up to 6 cores.[1]
