Claudia Jessie (born c.1989[1]) is a British actress. She has appeared in a number of television programmes since 2012, most notably as lead WPC Annie Taylor in the third series of BBC's WPC 56.


Claudia Jessie was born in Birmingham, but raised in London.[1] She obtained an agent in 2012.


Her television roles have included Doctors, Casualty, and The Paradise. She also appeared in House of Anubis, in its Touchstone of Ra television film, where her character was revealed to be the villain. She also appears in the web programme Dixi as Shari; Dixi is a BAFTA-winning programme for CBBC Online.

In 2015, she was cast as lead character WPC Annie Taylor in the third series of the BBC television programme WPC 56.[1][2] She was recently featured as guest lead in the comedy programme Josh, playing Josh's (Josh Widdicombe) love interest. Jessie also played lead girl in the 2014 short film Copy That, from director by Kingsley Hoskins, that won Best Comedic Short Film award at TSFA in New York. Jessie most recently finished a film set to be released in 2016 called Their Finest where she plays a twin called Doris.
