Clara Veseliza, known professionally as Clair Marlo, is a Croatian-American composer, performer, arranger and record producer.[1] She is notable for her hit singles "Til They Take My Heart Away" from her debut album Let It Go.[2] Her song became a staple in radio stations in the early 90's and was later covered by Filipino singer, Kyla[3] on her Album "Not Your Ordinary Girl". Clair was also notable for singing "Sviraj" and "Lullaby" on Paul Schwartz's "Aria 2 - New Horizon" CD which went to #5 on Billboard's Top Classical Crossover Chart in 1999.[4]

Career

A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Marlo has released recordings under her own name (Let it Go, Behaviour Self, and Trinity), and as part of a group (Primal Instinct, Tairona, Vox Mundi, and Liquid Amber). She also founded a small music production company in 1995, Invisible Hand Productions, in partnership with her husband, Alexander "Ace" Baker.[5]

She has produced such artists as Harry Chapin (posthumously), Pat Coil, Michael Ruff, Kilauea, Grant Geissman, and had her music in films such as The Firm and Swimming Pool.
