Clóvis de Barros Filho (Ribeirão Preto, October 21, 1966) is a Brazilian lawyer, journalist, writer, philosopher and university professor. Doctor in Constitutional Law and Sociology of Law at the Faculté de Droit (Panthéon-Assas University), d'Economie et des Sciences Sociales (University of Paris III: Sorbonne Nouvelle) and in Communication Sciences from the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP). He is associate professor at ECA-USP, course coordinator Ethics and Environment of the Continuing Education Program of the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (PEC/FGV), UNESCO Ethics consultant. He is the author of Ethics in Communication and co-author of Life worth living.

Biography

Clovis de Barros Filho was born in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, on October 21, 1966. He holds a BA in Journalism from the Faculty of Social Communication Gasper Libero (1985), Bachelor of Laws from the University of São Paulo (1986), Master of Science Pllitique the University of Paris III (Sorbonne-Nouvelle) (1990) and PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2002).

Clovis de Barros Filho won in 2007, the Free-Teaching from the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo, where he is professor of ethics. It teaches Corporate Philosophy of HSM Education since 2013. He was a founder of the Pessimistic School Peruibe. It Researcher and UNESCO Ethics Adviser. It is a researcher and lecturer at Ethics Space. It is a columnist for the journal Philosophical Ethics Science & Life.

Clovis de Barros Filho is co-author of the book "The Life That Worthwhile Being Lived" (in partnership with Arthur Meucci), "We Are All Bastards" (in partnership with Julius Pompey), "Ethics in Communications", "Philosophy Explains big Questions of Humanity "," Theories of Communication in Journalism – Reflections on the Media ", among others.
