Founded in 2001, the Christian Educational Consortium (CEC) is a private school in Louisville, Kentucky. A collegiate style school for Christian home educated students, CEC classes are offered to grades 6-12. CEC meets twice a week on Tuesday and Wednesday at Indiana Wesleyan University - Louisville campus. For the 2010-2011 school year, approximately 350 students were enrolled, and currently, for the 2016-2017 school year, there are over 500 students. CEC offers over 60 different classes in all the core subjects (English, math, science, and history),the arts, and many different electives such as World View, Psychology, Journalism, Chess,Drama, Philosophy, Business, and Computer. There are also four foreign languages from which students can choose: Chinese, Italian, Spanish, and Latin. At this school, you may take anywhere from one to six classes. There are a total of eight 90-min to 120 min. periods, four on Tuesday and four on Wednesday. Each teacher will assign homework suitable for one week. The student then complete the homework during the course of the school week, for each class in which he/she is enrolled.

The 2017 graduating class will mark a record number of 90 students, the vast majority of whom will attend a four-year college. The Christian Educational Consortium offers a rigorous collegiate style schedule in which each of the core academic classes are the equivalent of an Honors class. CEC also offers advanced classes in which students have successfully taken the CLEP exams for college credits, conveniently being able to take the CLEP exams on the IWU campus, and the AP exams at another site. The 2016-17 Advanced classes which offer an AP test in May are Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, and U. S. Government. For the 2016-2017 academic year CEC students may take dual credit classes through Boyce College, Ohio Christian University, and Indiana Wesleyan University, acquiring college credit for English 101 and English 102, Business, Personal Finance, and Career Development (Life Calling).
