Cheliosea cosmeta is a moth of the family Erebidae. It was described by Lower in 1907. It is found in Australia (New South Wales,[1] the Northern Territory, Victoria and South Australia).

The wingspan is about 30 mm. The forewings are greyish brown with indistinct pale submarginal bands. The hindwings are yellow with a greyish-brown spot near the center and a broad greyish brown margin.[2]
