Thudellage Charitha Buddhika Fernando (also known as Buddika Fernando; born August 22, 1980 in Panadura) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.[2] Buddhika made a good One Day International debut, taking a wicket with his first legal delivery and finishing the match with figures of five wickets for 67 runs,[3] the second-best bowling figures for a Sri Lankan player in their debut match.[4] He subsequently made his debut for the Sri Lankan Test team.

Charitha is a product of St. John's College Panadura.[5]

After nine Tests and some inconsistent performances he was dropped.[4]
