ChargerCon is an annual convention held on the campus of the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), currently housed in the Charger Union. Growing out of the UAH LAN Party, ChargerCon is named for the UAH Chargers, and the name represents that it is a student-organized on-campus convention that is hosted by Student Run eSports (SReS), a member of TeSPA.[1] It is free and open to the greater community, and attracts eSports teams from the surrounding universities to compete in tournaments. The first ChargerCon took place on March 23, 2012, and it has since happened every spring and fall.[2] It's estimated that the semi-annual gatherings have attracted around 1,000 attendees. Although primarily a competitive gaming event that hosts tournaments and panels, ChargerCon has been described as an "Internet Culture" convention. It has a broad focus on many mediums including console, PC, and tabletop gaming, game development, anime, cosplay, comics, and technology. Popular tournaments include League of Legends, Dota 2, Halo, Call of Duty, Team Fortress 2, Super Smash Bros., and more.

SReS also hosts a weekly Wednesday Game Night at UAH's Charger Union and additional campus LAN parties.
