"Chal Bulleya" is a song by the Pakistani band Mekaal Hasan Band. It featured on their album Saptak. Javed Bashir was on the vocals, and won the singer of the year award in the Lux Style Awards. Lyrics were by Bulleh Shah and Bhagat Kabir.

MHB released a 20-second trailer for Chal Bulleya. The song was released on 2 October 2009. It hit 13000 likes on YouTube within a couple of days.[1]

Video

The video was shot and directed by Bilal Lashari. It featured a star-studded cast. Moammar Rana, Meera, Rabia Butt, Juggun Kazim, Aaminah Haq, and Ahmed Ali Butt were all part of this video.

The video portrayed the Seven Deadly Sins. The video is based in a hotel, with seven different characters, alone in seven different rooms; indulging in their own sin. They are all interlinked by a hotel maid (played by Juggun Kazim who walks in and out of their rooms. She eventually weaves these characters together by being the last sin (envy) to this seven headed dragon of a video. On 26 December, in an online poll by Dawn News the band's video for their single, "Chal Bulleya", was voted as the best music video of 2010.[2]

Bilal Lashari won the best music video director award in the 9th Lux Style Awards for the video.[3]
