Cathedral College, East Melbourne

Cathedral College, East Melbourne was an all-boys, Catholic High School run by the Congregation of Christian Brothers and located on Victoria Parade in East Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It was originally the site of the Christian Brother's School, Parade College until the latter's relocation to Bundoora in 1968.[1]

The school operated at this site from 1968 and 1995, teaching classes from year 5 to year 10.[2] In 1996, one of the former teachers at the school was convicted of having sexually abused students during his tenure at Cathedral College.[3]

Heritage Listing

The school building is currently regarded to be of architectural significance within the state of Victoria and is heritage listed.[4]

Modern Day

The Catholic Theological College currently operates at this premises.[5]
