Airlines and destinations

As of October 2012, it has no scheduled passenger service. The brand-new Castellon-Costa Azahar Airport was built in the hope of receiving international flights and was opened in March 2011; it was hoped that flights would begin in 2012, but it lay unused before Ryanair and Blue Air eventually began services in 2015. There is no plan to close the old airport and it will continue to receive general aviation flights.
