"Can't Stop This Thing We Started" is a song by Canadian singer and songwriter Bryan Adams. The song was written by Adams and Robert John "Mutt" Lange, and was the second single from Adams' 1991 album Waking Up the Neighbours, a successor of the massive hit single "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You". A rock song in contrast to "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You", it peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, only behind "Cream" by Prince and The New Power Generation. This track received two nominations at the Grammy Awards of 1992 for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance, Solo, winning neither.[1] It served as the 2009 British Columbia Liberal Party campaign theme song.
