History

Cambridge Montessori School is a private American Montessori Society[1] and Association of Independent Schools of New England[2] certified private Montessori school that was founded in 1963 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It offers preschool, kindergarten, primary, and elementary school education.

Campus

As of 2012, Cambridge Montessori School has grown to 221 students with three distinct campuses. The Toddler/Primary Building (toddler through kindergarten) is on Garden Street adjacent to Danehy Park. The Elementary Building (grades 1-6) is on the other side of Danehy park on Sherman Street. The Middle School (grades 7-8) and arts programs are also on Sherman Street, directly across from the park.
