Cable News Network Indonesia (abbreviated as CNN Indonesia) is a television station and news site belonging to Trans Media in collaboration with Turner International. CNN Indonesia aired for the first time on Monday, August 17, 2015.

CNN Indonesia is part of the strategy of CNN International Commercial's Content Sales and Partnerships Group which seeks to reach more audiences in cooperation with local media organizations. Besides Indonesia, similar cooperation has been established also in CNN Philippines, CNN Turk and CNN Chile.

Broadcast

Broadcasting in Indonesian from the studio of Trans Media, CNN Indonesia serves its viewers with news of international and local content, with a focus on general news, business, sports, technology and entertainment. Meanwhile, a website was launched on October 20, 2014 by Yusuf Arifin as editor in chief.

Currently, CNN Indonesia has been broadcasting 24 hours a day and can be seen on pay-for-view TV providers as well as a live stream at its website and Trans Media's Transvision.

Relationship with CNN International

CNN Indonesia and CNN International are two distinct and separate organizations. They are independent of one another, but can cooperate and assist each other during a situation.
