Bukit Gelugor is a residential neighbourhood in George Town, Penang, Malaysia, located just north of Gelugor Village. The name literally translates as 'Gelugor Hill' in the Malay language. The area was one of the oldest suburban housing areas in George Town and has many old colonial-style bungalows that are still occupied. It is connected to the north to the suburb of Jelutong, and to the Green Lane area.

The summit of Gelugor Hill was reputedly a site where criminals and political prisoners were beheaded during the Japanese occupation of Malaya.

The area houses the Regional Centre for Education in Science and Mathematics (RECSAM).The village in Bukit Gelugor has remain rooted to their cultural and religious background. There is a very harmonious relationship between the Hindu, Muslim and Chinese populations. All religious ceremonies are equally celebrated by all.
