Buddleja davidii 'Foxtail' is a little-known Dutch cultivar raised by the Ferdinandushof Nursery at Overslag. In the Royal Horticultural Society Buddleja trials held at Wisley, it was found to be the second most attractive cultivar to insects (after 'Orchid Beauty'), but was unplaced in the human popularity poll. Description

'Foxtail' develops broad pale blue panicles which taper rapidly towards the apex.

Cultivation

'Foxtail' is rare in cultivation in the UK.
