Buddleja 'Blue Chip Jr' (Lo & Behold series) is a dwarf hybrid cultivar derived from a crossing of 'Blue Chip' and clone NC2006-18 by the North Carolina Agriculture Research Service, NCSU, and released to commerce in 2013. [1]

Description

'Blue Chip Jr' is claimed to be a 'clear improvement' on 'Blue Chip'; more compact and symmetrical growth habit, earlier flowering, and producing longer panicles of a more persistent rich blue colouring on less brittle stems. The leaves are silver-green. [1]

Cultivation

'Blue Chip Jr' is marketed exclusively by Spring Meadow Nursery Inc., Grand Haven, Michigan. It is not known (2014) to be in cultivation beyond the USA. Hardiness: USDA zones 57.
