Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011

Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany, selecting their entry through an internal selection, organised by the Bosnian broadcaster Radiotelevizija Bosne i Hercegovine (BHRT).

BH Eurosong 2011

BHRT announced their Eurovision participation for Germany in September 2010, when they ask for possible artists or ideas for the entry at their Facebook site.[1] Like in the previous years BHRT will select their entry internal. They will officially present its song for Eurovision Song Contest on 20 February.[2][3]

On 1 December, BHRT announced at a special show, that Dino Merlin, who already represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 1999 contest, will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina in Düsseldorf.[4]

Bosnia & Herzegovina's Head of Delegation, Dejan Kukrić, left the door open for the public televoting in case the artist cannot choose a song.[5]

Bosnia and Herzegovina performed first in the second semifinal on 12 May. Dino placed fifth with 109 points and advanced to the final. At the final on 14 May, Bosnia and Herzegovina performed second and placed sixth with 125 points.
