Bocignolo

Not to be confused with Binciola.

The Bocignolo was a Ragusan noble family. It hailed from Chlieuno (Livno),[1] a town in Hum, a crown land of Serbia.[2] It was mentioned as living in the city of Ragusa (Dubrovnik) in 1588.[1]

Annotations

Also spellt Bucignola,[5] Buzignola,[6] Bozignolo, Bocinolo, Bucenoli, Bocenoli. The name has been Slavicized into Bucinjolić, Bočinić, Bučinic, Bučinčić.
