Blue Yonder Films

Blue Yonder Films, is a film production company based in Los Angeles, and is the creator of the animated motion pictures Hoodwinked! (2005), Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil (2011), and Escape from Planet Earth (2013). Blue Yonder Films is developing a film with Rhythm and Hues Studios, and two other projects, entitled Dragons and Digging to China.

History

Blue Yonder was founded in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1996, by brothers Cory and Todd Edwards and Preston Stutzman.

Its first production was a 6-minute short film called Swanky Nights in 1996. This was followed in 1997 by a full-length feature, Chillicothe, shown at the Sundance Film Festival in 1999. Hoodwinked! followed in 1996.
