Bloomberg tablets

The Bloomberg tablets are a recently excavated collection of 405[1] wax tablets from London dating back to the early Roman period. They include some of the earliest documents found in Britain (containing, among other things, the earliest known reference to the city of London), predating the Vindolanda tablets[2] and providing evidence for everyday business and bureaucracy in early Roman London. They were uncovered at the future site of the Bloomberg headquarters.[3]
