Blondie Meets the Boss is a 1939 American film directed by Frank R. Strayer.
Based on the Chic Young's comic strip of the same name, the film is the second in the Blondie series, which would eventually grow to 28 films.[1]
Plot
The film centers on Blondie (Penny Singleton) taking over at Dagwood's (Arthur Lake) office while he's off on a fishing trip.

Production for the film took place in December 1938 to January 1939, and had the working title Blondie Steps Out.[2]
