Bhuna, Haryana

Bhuna (Urdu: بهُونہ ), is a small town in Fatehabad District in the Hisar Division of the state of Haryana, India. It is located 26 kilometres (16 mi) from Fatehabad, 18 kilometres (11 mi) from Uklana, about 50 kilometres (31 mi) from Hisar and about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from Dullat village.

History

According to ancient Hindu scripture "Raja Bhim's" son Bhun Singh founded this town. The majority of the population were Muslim Rajputs, also known as Ranghars who migrated in 1947 to Pakistan and mostly settled in Punjab, Sindh and Karachi. The temple of Baba Ranadhir attracts many followers from different parts of the country.
