Development
The official announcement of the film was announced sometime in April 2014. The title of the film was said to be Bhavesh Joshi.[3]
Casting
The makers of the film earlier decided to choose Sidharth Malhotra[3] to play the lead role but they have now chosen Harshvardhan Kapoor to play the lead role in the film.[1]
Filming
The principal photography of the film commenced in July 2016.[1]
