Benjamin Castaldi (born 28 March 1970) is a French television personality of Italian origin and Polish-Jewish descent through his maternal grandmother (the actress Simone Signoret)[1] and the former host of Secret Story, the spinoff of Loft Story which are the French adaptations of Big Brother. He currently host Nouvelle Star, the French adaptation of Pop idol.

He became famous as the host of Loft Story and Secret Story.[2] He is the son of the actor Jean-Pierre Castaldi[3] and the actress Catherine Allegret.[4]
