Bender is a former settlement in Fresno County, California.^[1] It was located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Lanare,^[2] at an elevation of 207 feet (63 m).^[1] Bender still appeared on maps as of 1927.^[1]
