Benjamin D Unwin (Ben Unwin) portrayed the character Jesse McGregor on the Australian television drama Home and Away from 1995 to 2005.^[1]

He was nominated for a British TV Award and a TV Week Logie Award for his role on the show.

He commenced his acting career at the age of 12, working consistently in film and television while completing his school education. After receiving his Higher School Certificate Ben had the role of bad boy Jesse written for him after auditioning for another role on the show.

Following his 10 year stint on Home and Away, Ben embarked on a career change and obtained an Bachelor of Laws. He is currently undertaking a Master of Business Administration and Master of Laws. He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia and now works as a solicitor.
