beIN MOVIES is a group of popular movie channels launched on 1 November 2015. It is now a group of four HD channels (beIN MOVIES) owned by and broadcast on the beIN Channels Network.

These four channels broadcast North American, European and Australian movies; all with Arabic subtitle.

On December 2015, ITALIA FILM INTERNATIONAL announced signing of a five-year multi-million dollar content output deal with beIN Media Group. This is biggest output deal made in the Middle East region that entitles beIN MOVIES to acquire over 600 movie titles.

On March 2016, beIN Media Group announced that it has acquired 100% of MIRAMAX®, one of the most distinguished and recognizable brands in entertainment and synonymous with award-winning and original content.

After this deal, MIRAMAX® continues to thrive with its library, on beIN MOVIES, this library which holds over 700 titles that collectively have garnered 278 Academy Award® nominations and 68 Oscars®, including Best Picture winners The English Patient, Shakespeare in Love, Chicago and No Country for Old Men.

On October 2016, beIN Media Group announced that it had signed an acquisition deal with Warner Bros. This deal enables beIN Network to access to the exclusive 2nd Pay window rights to Warner Bros. theatrical features.

Starting from December 2016, beIN MOVIES will show many of Walt Disney animation movies from the huge archive of this big studio, these movies will be shown with Arabic dubbed.

From January 2019, beIN will become the exclusive home of Warner Bros.’ first-run programming, series and 1st Pay window feature films. In addition to acquiring the pay TV window, beIN has acquired catch-up rights as well as access to the rich library of content from Warner Bros on beIN MOVIES channels.[3]
