The Battle of Thyatira was fought in 366 at Thyatira, Phrygia (modern Turkey), between the army of the Roman Emperor Valens and the army of the usurper Procopius, led by his general Gomoarius.

The defeat of Gomoarius decreased the hopes of Procopius, so that, when Valens reached Procopius and his troops at Nacoleia, the troops of the usurper deserted their commander, and Procopius was imprisoned and killed by Valens.[1]
