Banool railway station

Banool was a stopping place and railway station located on the now dismantled Victorian Railways Colac to Beech Forest narrow gauge line. Today all that remains is the original Railway Station signage.

A portion of the original railway reservation is now a rail trail and visitors to the Great Otway National Park are now able to cycle along the path. The best and most original section of the line is between Gellibrand and Banool.
