BandNews TV is a Brazilian satellite and cable television news channel owned by Grupo Bandeirantes. It was the second news channel launched in the Brazilian cable/satellite market.
BandNews' format shows rolling news bulletins, updated every 30 minutes. The channel also broadcasts Jornal da Band, one hour later the original broadcast on Band, talk shows about business and culture and short documentaries during the break between the news bulletins. BandNews is the most watched Brazilian news channel out of the country and it was the first Brazilian news network to broadcast in high definition.
Programming
- Jornal da Noite (News of the Night): This show is presented by Boris Casoy. It tells you summaries of everything that happened during the day in Brazil and in the world. Plus, analysis and interviews of the most important news. Broadcast weekdays 02:00am-02:40am.
- Jornal BandNews - 1ª Edição (News of BandNews - First Edition): Start the day well-informed with the main news from Brazil and the world, plus traffic and weather. Rafael Colombo presents the "Journal BandNews - 1st Edition" with a lot of analysis of the most relevant issues. Broadcast daily 06:00am-07:30am.
