Baker Memorial Girls Higher Secondary School, Kottayam (established 1820) is one of the oldest girls schools in India.

Amelia Dorothea Baker, wife of Henry Baker, realized that a society can be developed if its women are educated so she started educating girls. In 1820, Baker school was born and, with it, the history of women's education in Kerala.

The school motto is "Love Never Faileth".
