Back to Back Theatre

'Back to Back Theatre' is an Australian contemporary theatre company based in Geelong, Victoria and touring nationally and internationally.

Since 1999, under the Artistic Directorship of Bruce Gladwin, the company has nurtured a unique artistic voice with an emphasis on the ensemble’s own commentaries on broad social and cultural dialogue. Created through a process of research, improvisation and scripting, new work is realised via collaboration between the ensemble, Artistic Director and guest artists.

The ensemble currently consists of six actors, all of whom are neurodivergent and/or disabled. As of July 2016 the Back to Back ensemble are: Simon Laherty, Sarah Mainwaring, Scott Price, Mark Deans and Romany Latham.[1]
