Bab-e-Khyber

Bab-e-Khyber (Khyber Gate)[1] is a monument which stands at the entrance of the Khyber Pass in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan. Jamrud Fort is located on its right.[1]

History

It was built in the 10th century and in 1964 it was being repaired. It also a mark of Pakistan's North - Western - Frontier - Province, recently as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and is seen as a mark of respect by KPK citizens .[1]
