Azpetrol is an oil and gas company headquartered in Baku whose main operation is the retail sale and wholesale of fuel through petrol and gas stations network. The company entered into the Azerbaijani market on July 15, 1997 with its first fuel filling station in Baku.[1]

As of December 2014, Azpetrol operates 77 petrol stations and 5 gas stations covering most of the economic regions of Azerbaijan.[2] It is the largest network of fuel filling stations in Azerbaijan followed by Lukoil and SOCAR. The company is one of the largest employers in Azerbaijan as well with more than 2,770 employees.

The General Director of Azpetrol from 1997 to 2005 was Rafig Aliyev, who was the brother of Farhad Aliyev, then Minister of Economic Development (2001-2005).
