Awankari

Awankari (Awāṅkārī), also known as Jandali, is a Hindko dialect spoken in Punjab, Pakistan.

Shackle reports in 1980 that Avāṅkārī is the most common name for the dialect of Talagang Tehsil in Chakwal District,[1] but a decade later Rensch found this name wasn't used; people called their speech Punjabi even though they recognised it is more similar to Hindko than to the Punjabi of Lahore.[2]
