Austin Brice

Brice was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the ninth round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft out of Northwood High School in Pittsboro, North Carolina.^[1] He made his professional debut that season with the Gulf Coast Marlins and also played 2011 there. In 2012 and 2013, he played for the Greensboro Grasshoppers.^[2] Brice played for the Jupiter Hammerheads in 2014 and Jacksonville Suns in 2015. The Marlins added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.^[3] He started the 2016 with Jacksonville and was promoted to the New Orleans Zephyrs.

Brice was called up to the majors for the first time on August 9, 2016.^[4]
