Atmospheric Studies Group

The Atmospheric Studies Group (ASG) is a part of TRC Solutions, a subsidiary of TRC Companies, Inc. headquartered in Lowell, Massachusetts. The ASG provides research and consulting services in the environmental and physical sciences with major emphasis on:

The ASG also provides intensive training programs in the use of the CALPUFF dispersion model.

The ASG staff

ASG's principals and supporting staff are very experienced scientists and engineers who have developed and evaluated numerous meteorological and dispersion models for both public agencies and private industries. The most notable dispersion model developed by the ASG staff is the CALPUFF model.

The ASG staff is committed to developing and using the latest scientific advances relative to air quality and air pollution dispersion modeling.

Most of the ASG principals were originally with the Sigma Research Company where they developed the CALPUFF model. Sigma Research subsequently became the dispersion modeling staff of the Earth Tech Company.[1] In April 2006, the dispersion modeling staff of Earth Tech became a part of TRC Solutions.[2]
