Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care

The Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) is the organization which maintains the standards of care found within The Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and the Public Health Service Act (PHS) policy. This accreditation is voluntary, and is not a prerequisite for United States federal funding.
