Asparagus squarrosus is a species of flowers, a type of asparagus that belong to the Asparagaceae family. The species are endemic in Cape Verde.[1] IThe species was named by Johann Anton Schmidt in 1853.
In Portuguese as other asparaguses, its local name is espargo or aspargo.[2] The plant are used as a traditional medicine.
Distribution and ecology
Sarcostemma daltonii are founded in nearly all of the Cape Verdean islands except for Brava.
